Moving from one place to another in Mauritius is not a problem; the various bus companies offer regular services throughout the island. The coastline of the island can be visited in a day, with the longest distance being only 50 km. Tourists can take taxis or even travel by bus. Our road infrastructure is good, so renting cars is also recommended. If you are from the EU, Switzerland, or Canada, you will not need a visa. All that will be required is a valid passport.
